New Partnership Announcement!

In another positive step forward, we are pleased to announce our new partnership with Vertu Motors Jaguar Land Rover Leeds for the 2024/25 season. The established motoring dealership’s Leeds office, conveniently located behind the Mandela Community Centre off Scott Hall Road, will have its brand placed on the LDM Basketball Academy’s kit as the team competes in the National League and College Basketball League (CBL) competitions in 2024/25.

John Steele, General Manager of Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds, commented on the collaboration:

'We are delighted to support LDM Basketball, a fantastic initiative that is changing lives in our community. Basketball is a great way to engage young people, offering them the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence. We hope that this is the start of a long and fruitful partnership, where we can continue to support the young people of Leeds in meaningful ways.'

This move signals our intention to collaborate with large organisations operating locally and it marks the first major sponsorship in our new journey as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Numerous opportunities are expected to arise from this partnership, as we explore ways to support our cohort both on and off the court, enhancing access to employability and skills training, work experience and other soft skills in line with LDM’s core mission and values.
