Black History Month Event 2021

It was an action packed event at our second annual Black History Month Celebration, at Cockburn School with over 50 young people taking part in activities in celebration of great Black achievers and leaders past and present.

Everyone was kept well fed at the event, curtesy of our event supporters AfroChops and Dough UK who provided African Caribbean appetisers and delicious desserts respectively. We finished the day on a high as the U18 Men played in the Junior NBL against East Durham Lions, defeating the side from the North East 80-60.
